State Parks: Concealed Carry is legal in accordance with state laws that regulate the right to carry
Restaurants Serving Alcohol: Firearms in establishments that have a license for the dispensing of alcoholic beverages are unlawful, UNLESS you have a valid permit and the restaurant derives no less than sixty percent of it's annual revenue from the sale of food AND they sell only beer and wine... no hard liquor.
Firearms at Colleges: Concealed guns on campus prohibited by law.
Firearms at K-12 Schools: NM permittees may have a loaded handgun in the vehicle only.
Magazine Capacity Limitations: No restrictions
Suppressor Ownership: Ownership & Hunting Legal.
Vehicle Possession Without Recognized Permit: Handguns may be loaded and concealed in vehicle

Permit Training Requirements: Applicants must complete a 15 hour course that includes live fire. Applicants must take ongoing training courses every 2 years

Length of Permit Validity: 4 Years
Permit Application Process: Submit an application with the fees, and other required documentation.
Non-Resident Permits: Non-resident permits are available for military only
Places Off Limits: In New Mexico, licensees can only carry one concealed handgun at any time. It is legal to carry more than
one firearm. However, only one firearm may be concealed on your person at a time. This restriction does not
apply to firearms carried in your vehicles, on or off your person.

Church Carry: Churches act like any other private property and may restrict
on a church by church basis
Secure Storage Requirements: There are legal consequences if one fails to secure their firearm and that leads to a minor gaining unauthorized access.
