Permit Training Requirements: Applicants must complete a simple handgun safety course. No live fire required.

Length of Permit Validity: 4 Years
Permit Application Process: Complete a qualifying class and present your certificate at your county sheriff's office. Fill out the application and pay the fee.
Non-Resident Permits: Non-residents of adjacent states may apply if they have their home state permit first.
Places Off Limits: Grounds of a school at which the board of the school has adopted a policy and posted a clearly visible sign at all normal points of entry.
Buildings owned or controlled by a governing body that are used for governing body official meetings wherein the governing body had adopted a policy and posted a clearly visible sign at all normal points of entry.

and Industries Building, the State Transportation Building, the Agriculture Building or the Public Service
