Tyler on Training- The Draw
In this video, Tyler Grey, training advisor for CCW Safe, talks about drawing from a concealed holster. This is going to be the first video in a series, and as basic as it might sound, this is one of the most important aspects of training for concealed carry. Even if you are advanced, it’s always good to keep refining your techniques. The first critical part of drawing from a concealed holster is clearing the material that is concealing it. If you don’t get that material out of the way before you draw, whether it is a shirt, jacket or other material, then your firearm is not going to come out of the holster as planned. If you get hung up, or are not able to get that gun out when you need it, we all know that can lead to serious problems.
