Self-Defense Scenario #1 The Liquor Store

The video features eight media professionals, including writers, content creators, and competitive shooters, at Gun Talk’s range ready facility. They participated in real-world self-defense scenarios designed to test their judgment, skills, and assumptions. The first scenario involved the participants arriving at a liquor store as gunshots erupted. A man, armed, stumbled out of the store, forcing the participants to assess the threat and protect their driver.

Self-Defense Scenario #2: Closing Time

In the second scenario presented, the participants are employees at a local gun range, working late to finish cleaning when they encounter a customer at closing time, forcing them to assess the threat. After each reaction plays out, CCW Safe’s Cris Cunningham, drawing on her experience as a homicide detective, and co-founder Mike Darter, recalling his experience as a law enforcement officer, break down what happened in the classroom.

 

Self-Defense Scenario #3: A Surprise Visitor

This scenario involved the professionals relaxing in their living room when an unexpected visitor arrived at the door, turning a normal night into a decision-making test under pressure. After the scenario, the event included a breakdown of what happened and what could happen next by:

Self-Defense Scenario #4: Fender Bender
