The Next Fight- What Happens At Trial?

Don West, National Trial Counsel for CCW Safe, continues The Next Fight, talking about what happens at trial. Trial is what happens when everything else to try to get the case dismissed, has failed. The only thing left is to put the case to a trial. There are several phases of a trial, including jury selection, open statements, presentation of prosecution, presentation of defense, jury instruction conference, closing arguments and jury deliberation. Don also talks about standard of proof, burden of proof, and presumption of innocence. This is a great wrap up of what to expect during a trial.
