Tyler on Training: Risk Management

This week, Tyler talks about risk management for concealed carriers in terms of locations, times, and events.  You will often hear “I always carry because anything can happen at any time”, and while it is true, and you should always be prepared on some level, it is also true that different scenarios have inherit different levels of risk, and that is a factor that cannot be ignored.  You shouldn’t overlook a scenario that could have much more risk and not be prepared, and on the other end of the spectrum, you wouldn’t want to look at something thought to have little or no risk and say to yourself  “I don’t need to take anything here, nothing is going to happen”.

The main point being, always be prepared, but also use common sense and listen to your instinct.  Always evaluate where you are and where you are going.
