Tyler On Training- Time, Money, & Effort

Tyler Grey, training advisor for CCW Safe, talks about the mentality behind carrying concealed. If you are a concealed carrier, you must have thought about the unfortunate possibility that you may someday have to use that firearm. If so, you better have invested the time, money, and more importantly, the effort into seeking out training. Tyler stresses the fact that your training should include dynamic and stressful aspects. The best way to do so is to seek training that provides those aspects in the type of environment you would have to use it in, or a closely simulated environment.

Grey, who grew up in Bakersfield, California, joined the Army in 1998 and quickly advanced from training into the 75th Ranger Regiment, 2nd Battalion. He endured four deployments with Army Special Operations–two each to Afghanistan and Iraq–before he became 100 percent disabled from the explosion that occurred during a house raid and gun-battle in Baghdad in 2005.
