The Next Fight-Presentation of Evidence
Don West, National Trial Counsel for CCW Safe, continues The Next Fight, talking about the presentation of evidence.
The presentation of evidence starts with Direct Examination. Leading questions are not allowed during direct examination, only open ended questions can be asked. After direct examination, there will be cross examination, and then possible re direct, and re cross.
After direct examination, the defense will put on its evidence. The defense can give an opening statement, can rebut witnesses or experts, and then the defendant will be allowed to testify, if it is determined that they will testify.

About Don West
